Building Our Future is a multi-phase capital campaign focused on strengthening, renewing, and preparing the parish home of St. John the Baptist for the years ahead. A Phased Plan for the Future
Building Our Future is organized around a three-phase Master Plan designed to address immediate needs while keeping a larger vision for the future clearly in view.
Phase One: Protect the Foundation focuses on the parish’s most immediate infrastructure needs. This includes central HVAC for the parish house, necessary asbestos abatement, and a new roof for the parish house. The current Phase One fundraising goal is $720,000.
Phase Two: Transform the Experience looks toward a more accessible, functional, and welcoming parish home. Planned improvements include an updated building entrance with an accessible ramp, new bathrooms adjacent to the meeting room, an expanded parish hall with a higher ceiling, improved circulation between gathering spaces, and architectural details that better reflect the identity and character of St. John the Baptist.
Phase Three: Raise a Visible Expression of Faith looks beyond the immediate renovations toward the church’s longer-term architectural vision, including tower restructuring, a steeple and narthex, and redesign of the church side entrance.
Together, these phases are intended to address practical needs today while preparing the parish for continued growth and ministry in the years ahead.
